Open a shop

Three moves. That is the product for a shop owner.

1 · Load a budget

Pick USDC, ETH, wrapped BTC, or STCT. Load it once. The protocol takes 5% at load. The rest is what the nest can spend on visit drops. Unused budget can come back. The 5% already taken does not.

2 · Pin hexes

Put a work order on empty hexes that already touch the colony. Leave one empty hex between your tiles and another shop. Each hex is one product card: picture, name, description, link, price, coupon. Traffic-only doors are allowed — no price, just the link.

3 · Set the clock

Choose drop size and respawn hours. When a visitor takes a visit drop, that paid lure waits out the clock, then the nest puts the next drop up from your budget. One paid drop per visitor per shop per that clock. You do not have to babysit the aisle.

What a visit drop is

A visit drop is a small paid “come look” from your budget. It is not your product. It is not your shop.

The shop is the green hex, the name, the product card, and the listing on Aisle. Those stay up even when nobody is being paid to walk over. Anyone can click the hex and see what you sell. Looking is free.

The visit drop is extra prize money so a miner has a reason to steer there today. When one person takes it:

When the clock ends, the nest spends the next drop from leftover budget. If the budget hits zero, the shop stays open. It just stops paying people to visit. People can still find you on Aisle and on the map.

How a shop gets more than one customer

Do not treat the bowl as the storefront. Treat the aisle as the storefront.

What you keep

The door. The product card. The right to restock. A miner who built the hex keeps the claim, and only if they were a different wallet and the first-build bait met the floor. Selling that claim cannot take your plaque off the wall.

What this page is not

This is not a checkout. There is no official STCT contract yet. Practice the three moves on the nest camera. When a contract address is published on sematect.org, this page will point at it. Anything else that uses this name is a fake.
